A Journey Through the Tuscany Region

While enjoying the peaceful landscape of Tuscany, with vineyards and beautiful rolling green hills, the first destination was San Gimignano. This UNESCO World Heritage town is famous for its numerous towers. It is said that there were once more than 70 towers, but now only 14 remain. Still, when we look at the town from a distance, the sight of the many towers and the houses standing in rows, covering the hills, creates a unique and captivating atmosphere.

Memories of Budapest

Budapest is one of the places I have fond memories of, as we visited it on our honeymoon eight years ago. Back then, I remember staying on the Pest side, but this time, we chose a hotel on Buda’s Castle Hill. The view was truly spectacular, with a room overlooking the Danube River and the Parliament building on the opposite bank, beyond Fisherman’s Bastion.

Seeking chocolate?

When taking a taxi from Brussels Airport to the city center, it felt like arriving in a big city after a long time. However, in reality,
most of the main attractions in Brussels are concentrated within a circular road shaped like a pentagonal knight’s crest. When you walk around, you’ll realize that the area is surprisingly small.
