We stayed at Kamogawa-kan to visit Kamogawa Sea World, which is conveniently located right in front of the hotel. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want to fully enjoy Sea World.

The baths are large and open, with both indoor and outdoor options. The outdoor bath includes large jar-shaped tubs and a jacuzzi, offering a relaxing experience. Being close to the ocean, the hot springs are a chloride spring with salt content, which warms your body thoroughly. Although I didn’t take any pictures, the rooftop of the building has a foot bath where you can enjoy views of the ocean. It’s a perfect spot to feel the sea breeze and read a book while relaxing.

Dinner featured plenty of seafood, including sashimi of golden alfonsino and other fresh fish likely caught nearby. It was a feast, and I thoroughly enjoyed the local flavors. Although Kamogawa is close enough to Tokyo for a day trip, staying overnight to enjoy delicious meals and relaxing hot springs is absolutely worth it. I’ve found great place I’d love to stay at again someday.
