[Webpage] Hayabusa Onsen【Official web page】
This is actually my second visit to the Hayabusa Onsen in Enzan. After climbing Mt. Kinpu today, I was driving around looking for a hot spring to go to. Then, I came to a familiar street near the Erinji Temple and remembered that there was Hayabusa Onsen nearby, with its characteristic slimy and smooth hot spring.

At the entrance of the building with the atmosphere of a private house, there is a hand-washing basin using hot spring. The board asked people to wash their hands here first due to the COVID-19 disaster. The source of the hot spring is 41.3 degrees Celsius, and it seems to be quite plentiful. Interestingly, a large amount of hot spring is poured from the mouth of carp sculpture. Indeed, hot spring water is also used for shower as well. The most distinctive feature of this hot spring is its high alkalinity, with a PH of 9.9. The slight scent of sulfur also adds the feeling of enjoying hot spring.
There is also a pleasant open-air bath. And as the rates are set for one day use, four hours use, and two hours use, it seems that people will be taking it easy and repeating the process of resting and taking bath throughout the day.

Climbing Mt. Kinpu. I drove up to Odarumi-toge, which is 2365 meters above sea level. From there, it took me about 2.5 hours to reach the peak of Mt. Kinpu which is 2599 meters above sea level. It was quite a pleasant hike while I could see Mt. Fuji several times in the clear sky. Unfortunately, it got cloudy by the time I reached the peak, so I couldn’t get a good view from there. However, I could enjoy the beautiful trees that had already turned red, and the strange view of the large “Gojyo-seki” stones on the summit. This one, I saw from Mt. Mizugaki the other day.
