[Access] About a 5-minute walk from JR San-in Main Line Kinosaki Onsen Station
[Rakuten Travel HP] Kinosaki Onsen Yamamotoya
We stayed at Yamamotoya in Kinosaki Onsen. Of course, the inn has its own baths, but I noticed a sign saying, “To preserve the culture of touring the public baths (Sotoyu), we are restricted from having large baths within the inn. We apologize for any inconvenience.” It really made sense to me. When more people head out into the hot spring town, the whole area becomes livelier and prospers. Because of that, the inn lets you have as many public bath passes as you want, and I can see they put so much effort into keeping those public facilities clean and welcoming.
After warming up my body with the public bath tour, I headed back to the inn for another treat. Yamamotoya actually runs its own craft brewery, so you can enjoy their beer right there—lucky me! (lol) I picked the Red Ale from their four varieties and relaxed in the stylish lobby. Man, this is the life.
