Iyadani Onsen Taishi-no-Yu Fureai Park Mino is a multipurpose facility that combines a roadside station with an onsen and accommodations. It was bustling with locals during my visit. On that day, I had just returned from visiting Iyadaniji Temple in heavy rain, leaving my body chilled and still dealing with persistent aches. Spotting the word “medicinal bath” at this onsen lifted my spirits, and the day’s special was a turmeric bath.

The facility offers a typical super sento experience, complete with jet baths and other features. While the atmosphere wasn’t quiet and relaxing due to the lively presence of locals, I did feel much of my fatigue melt away. After being chilled to the bone, I especially appreciated the piping hot pot served at dinner – it was comforting and delicious.

Though I didn’t have much energy to explore at the time, I later discovered that the facility also boasts a hot spring pool, making it a fun and versatile spot to visit.
